Very closeby there are at least 3 playgrounds an 2 parks:
- one fenced for children up to 12 years old at the Penninglaan (Penninglaan 2281 BW Rijswijk) within 3 minutes walking distance
- in the park at the end of the Penninglaan they've build a new green playground
- and there's another one behind our house. It is an open playground with a football/ basketball corner and a seperate playground for the little ones.
- one park wihtin 5 minutes walking distance at the end of the Penninglaan.
- another bigger park, called Agora, within 10 minutes walking distance.

Accessibility
Rijswijk is situated in the heart of a very densely populated area of the Netherlands known as the ‘Randstad’. This means that Rijswijk is easily accessible by road with the A4 and A13 motorways close by. Public transport (train, tram and bus) is also easily accessible. For example, tram number 17 goes by way of Rijswijk from the Statenkwartier in The Hague to the terminus in Wateringseveld.
